How much sleep should your children have at each age?

Do you have strict bed time rule? If you don’t it could be time to start – children and adults need to get enough sleep because their bodies and minds are growing and need a lot of energy to grow.

Children gain security and emotional stability when they get used to routines – it allows them to see the world as a safe and predictable place. So put them to bed at night at the same time and help them grow stronger – emotionally and physically.

And don’t take your sleep needs for granted – I know it’s difficult with a baby … but try to benefit from any resting time you can… and don’t feel guilty if you ask for a family or friend to help to give you some resting time… you need your energy super mom!
