Why having a girl’s night can help your relationship…

Sometimes a few hours with good friends can be the perfect medicine to cure so many things from boredom, anxiety, and so many other feelings you can’t always express to your husband.

Yes, my husband is my best friend. I feel I can tell him anything … but sometimes I do need to talk to my girlfriends to get another perspective.

Play-dates with the kids and moms are great, but getting dressed up for a drink or dinner completely changes your attitude, and makes you feel young again!

To actually organize a girl’s night out can feel like it is a MISSION IMPOSSIBLE. Not all super dad’s can handle the kids, especially if they are still very young… but try!

Make an effort to schedule or even organize one!

We are always nagging that we haven’t been able to go out since the kids were born because we rarely find anyone to babysit! So this could be a nice change! Ask for help.

Or invite a group of girlfriends over for dinner if there is no hope where you can keep the kids! But make that effort!

BREAK THE ROUTINE!

And before images of the HANGOVER completely cloud your decision (if you haven’t seen the movie – I highly recommend the first one).

It’s important for your husband to meet up with his friends too.

THIS IS A MOVIE AND WILL NOT HAPPEN IF HE GOES OUT WITH FRIENDS 🙂

This does not mean you are living separate lives.

DATE NIGHTS with your husband should be more regular than Girl’s/Boy’s Night.

but the truth is: WE ALL NEED FRIENDS
